Bio: I'm Ashley, and I wrote the young adult novel, Broken Bay. I am currently treading through the thick of querying. When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading books that make me cry, laugh, or want to hurl, like, a chair at a wall.... (John Green and Veronica Roth, I'm looking at you two, I see you, double V finger wave from my eyes to your eyes, well not collectively, like, separately, but I don't know either of you, so it has to be like via cyberspace). I'm a music lover, and I also dabble in poetry and photography when the mood hits.

And I feel you on the photography thing. I’m as amateur as they come, but I still enjoy it.

Seems unnatural not to like music!
For years, I have tried to make myself interested in all the technical ideals dealing with photography, but I finally realized, I don’t care about all of that. I just like to take pictures, and mess around with them until they look how I want them, not make them into something they’re “supposed” to be. Guess I’m stubborn!
